  • Abstract:
Detailed information on the labour inputs to individual building activities is limited in most countries, in spite of its value to builders and planners. In Australia, on-site observation procedures, using closed circuit video recording, have now been supplemented by a microcomputer system to record, store, analyse and summarise observed activities. In this paper, the computer equipment is described, the nature and operation of the software operating programs is outlined and examples of the output of the analyses are shown.
